While an earthship may not be accepted by everybody as a place to live nor might it be accepted as a building practice in every area, the concept shows the possibilities of recycling materials into something beneficial and more sustainable than our current building practices.

Earthships use a variety of recycled materials to construct livable spaces and structures, most of the materials are not seen in the finished product. Some of the most ugly materials like old tires, bottles, and cans are transformed into something a lot more beautiful and even more energy efficient than the building materials used in standard practice today.
